The aim of the site is to provide an avenue to help the Society reach its general aims and objectives as set out below.

1. To encourage, develop and foster a love and appreciation of orchids and to encourage participation within the Society and with kindred societies and clubs where ever they may be.
2. To provide a meeting place for members and others interested in orchid culture for their mutual benefit and fellowship.
3. For the purpose of enabling the above objectives to be furthered or realised, to:

• Hold regular meetings at which lectures on general or specialised orchid subjects are given and opportunity afforded for discussion of growing and showing orchids.
• Publish literature, hold orchid shows and promote other activities to further the objectives, aims and work of the Society and make known such objectives, aims and work. 
• To raise funds to support the purposes of the Horsham and District Orchid Society Inc.
